What can I say about Brittany and Ryley's wedding. This was definitely one of a kind and we loved it!! If you can just imagine the two sweetest, most caring, respectful and kind people, you would be imagining Jeanne and Yongrok. Working with these two on their wedding was an absolute dream! With Yongrok in California for school and Jeanne working in Korea, we planned every detail of their wedding through phone, email and skype, I didn't even meet them until their rehearsal! I am so excited to post this wedding on the blog!  This was such a fun, beautiful wedding and an even more fun and lovely couple.  Rachel and David wanted an intimate affair with their closest friends and family, most of whom were traveling, to experience the beauty of the Arizona desert. Rachel loved the idea of using coppers, blush tones and rose golds, and I must say we loved this idea as well! Rose Gold Romance at the Arizona Biltmore Resort - Styled Wedding Shoot

This job has a lot of perks, I must admit. But one of the best is when you get to collaborate with a stellar team of vendors, putting your creative ideas together to come up with a design that can showcase something new, different, trendy or just plain beautiful. I was beyond happy to work beside this amazing group of people at the Iconic Arizona Biltmore Resort to put together this shoot. It was an Elegant rose gold dream with the perfect touches of marble (check out those invites printed on a real slab of marble!), stunning roses and a cake you can NOT miss! Eileen & Jeff - JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Wedding

What a great way to start the new year; we could not have asked for a more amazing couple than Eileen and Jeff to kick off our 2017 weddings!  Eileen and Jeff wanted to make this an experiential weekend for their guests, so we started the festivities with a nice welcome dinner for all out of town family members. The South West dinner showcased cuisine customized just for this dinner from The Camelback Inn's Rita's Kitchen. Because Eileen didn't have a traditional bridal shower, she wanted to honor all the special women in her life with a Mother's and Daughter's Holiday Tea.  This was also hosted at The Camelback Inn, and allowed all of her guests to bring a special woman in their life (mother, sister, daughter or best friend) to enjoy a traditional Tea Service.  We had a lot of fun coming up with a bright, colorful tablescape and a delicious menu.  Saturday, was Jeff's birthday, and thankfully the weather held long enough so the family could celebrate Jeff's birthday with a lovely dinner outside on the patio.  Although the weather didn't hold to our liking for the main ceremony on Sunday, Eileen and Jeff's wedding was beautiful and we would not have changed a thing!  The family started the morning by attending church service together, and received a special blessing from their congregation's pastor, then came back to the resort to  get ready for the evening's ceremony and reception.  We were very fortunate to get a little blue sky for the first look - which turned out amazing!  The intimate ceremony and dinner reception that featured Eileen's french heritage and Jeff's love for the west, was perfectly melded together throughout their decor and cuisine. I must say, Eileen's attention to detail throughout the menu and decor elements really made this a special day for us, and of course them! Congratulations again, Eileen and Jeff!

There are so many things I can say about Bre and Chris. They are the most loving, radiant, welcoming couple and it was evident their entire wedding day. McKenzie and David - Royal Palms Resort and Spa Wedding

What a beautiful and fun wedding to end the Thanksgiving Holiday week with! From the very first time I met McKenzie and David, they were nothing but kind and welcoming and beaming with love!  I can't get enough of their story, either - they have known each other since the 6th grade!! So cute!! To marry your middle-school sweetheart...I am tearing up just thinking about it! Their day could not have been more perfect too; the beautiful ambiance of the Royal Palms Resort, gorgeous flowers and decor, and of course the bride and groom were both just stunning! Their happiness was so infectious, you could not help but smile anytime you were near them; take a look for yourself! Enjoy!

Jennifer & Albert's wedding was a special one to me. About a year before, I had the pleasure of meeting Jennifer while coordinating her twin sisters wedding. It was so much fun to start the fall season with Aimee and Erik's wedding at El Chorro!  They knew exactly what they wanted for every detail, and the entire bridal party was involved!  The maid of honor and best man surprised the bride and groom with a choreographed toast and involved the entire family for a hilarious rap.  Peaches were sporadically placed throughout the space to recognize Aimee's Georgia upbringing and they even included their dog in the wedding.  Congratulations to the amazing couple, we were honored to be a part of such a special event!

This post is a little overdue, but for good reason; it was published by two great publications!  A crisp, rainy April day turned into a warm, beautiful wedding for these two.  Alexa and Ian got married at the Phoenix Art Museum this past April and were surrounded by many of their friends and family who traveled from all over the country.  The color scheme was perfect for this drizzly day; dark and bright pinks accented with desert succulents.

The 2016 A Day to Cherish Weddings Team

Well, 2016 is winding down and I am LONG overdue at posting this but wedding season came and swept us up with client meetings, rehearsals and wedding after wedding. Now that we have a bit of time to catch up, I want to share a special post! Without these ladies, I (Cara) could never survive. They help me keep ADC in motion and are my saving grace on each and every wedding.

The girls here at A Day to Cherish Weddings love to see everything come together on wedding day, from hair and makeup, to the dress, to the decor and to the perfect vows.  We also love getting all dolled up and posing for the camera!  Usually, we are running around behind the scenes, but this summer, we had the chance to relax and unwind at the beautiful Omni Resort at Montelucia and spend some girl time taking new team photos.  HUGE Thanks to the talented Sarah San Marco and Tracee Clemons for some outstanding makeup, and to Annie Randall Photography for capturing our awesome team.  We had so much fun getting dressed up and just being together.  We hope you enjoy these photos as much as we do!
