When I first met Shannon, I could tell right away planning her wedding would be a blast. She had the most bubbly demeanor and was constantly laughing. You can tell from the photos of her wedding day I was right! Shannon and Ryan were SO much fun! They had the biggest smiles all day and were just truly enjoying themselves! It was so special to be a part of their wedding as so much joy was in the air. We go to meet Taco, the coolest ring dog there ever was and there was SO much champagne to be shared! Carson & Garrett - El Chorro Wedding

After a dreadful 2020, Carson and Garrett’s wedding was our first full wedding of 2021 and boy was it a breath of fresh air! It was SO good to be back in action and with some really amazing people on top of it. The entire wedding party, family and vendor list just made this day amazing from start to finish. What a beautiful and magical day Carly and Josh’s wedding was! They both have such a keen eye for details, and really wanted to give their out of town guests an amazing wedding weekend experience. They hosted events throughout the entire weekend, with it all leading up to their wedding day. The weather was perfect, the flowers were beyond beautiful, and all of their rental details came together to make the perfect evening. Not to mention, a little surprise for the bride, planned by the groom, of a choir to perform during their first dance. So romantic!! We hope you enjoy their wedding as much as we did.

Rebecca & David - El Chorro Wedding

This wedding truly was one of my favorites. Let's start with Rebecca and David. They were genuinely two of the sweetest, nicest people I have ever met. And they way they look at each other was pure perfection, I LOVED witnessing the two of them together on their wedding day. And the design was just so much FUN! We get asked to do a lot of trendy weddings, or muted colors and we love them so much but to meet a bride that wanted nothing but the brightest of colors and a gorgeous Mexican Fiesta theme to her wedding it was such a blast to plan. The Flower Studio got her vision and executed it absolutely perfectly and we were so happy with how everything turned out. Such a bold, fun and happy day this was!

The 2016 A Day to Cherish Weddings Team

Well, 2016 is winding down and I am LONG overdue at posting this but wedding season came and swept us up with client meetings, rehearsals and wedding after wedding. Now that we have a bit of time to catch up, I want to share a special post! Without these ladies, I (Cara) could never survive. They help me keep ADC in motion and are my saving grace on each and every wedding.

The girls here at A Day to Cherish Weddings love to see everything come together on wedding day, from hair and makeup, to the dress, to the decor and to the perfect vows.  We also love getting all dolled up and posing for the camera!  Usually, we are running around behind the scenes, but this summer, we had the chance to relax and unwind at the beautiful Omni Resort at Montelucia and spend some girl time taking new team photos.  HUGE Thanks to the talented Sarah San Marco and Tracee Clemons for some outstanding makeup, and to Annie Randall Photography for capturing our awesome team.  We had so much fun getting dressed up and just being together.  We hope you enjoy these photos as much as we do!

Meet Stephanie!

It is my pleasure to introduce to you another one of our fabulous staff members and give you a little insight on who she is outside of wedding day! Stephanie came to A Day to Cherish in May, she was the lucky girl who's first wedding was mine! So not only did she begin her first day at a new job, but she had the added pressure of working for a wedding coordinator who would notice every detail AND the added pleasure of experiencing my bridezilla moments. Poor Stephanie! But she did rise to the occasion and earned herself a top spot as a day of staff member. You will see Stephanie speeding around behind the scenes or helping brides and bridal party at the wedding. She has been an amazing asset to our team and is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet!

What is your favorite television show?

Fringe, The Event and Parenthood.  I like to mix it up with serious shows and funny shows.

Favorite movie?

I don't know if I have an all-time favorite, but, I do love the Notebook!  Can never refuse a good love story!

Favorite time of year?

I like the fall; I can bust out my boots and sweaters!

Favorite restaurant?

hmmm...I would say right now I really like Seasons 52!!  Yummy and healthy!

How many states have you been to? Countries?

oh, geese...I don't know how many states...let's just say I have been to at least 15...and I have been to 2 countries, US and Mexico

Who would you call first if you won the lottery?

If i was not with my hubby, him, and then my mom!

If you could speak another language, what would it be?

Well, I attempted to learn italian, so let's keep with that!

I have only met athletes, but I have seen a lot of famous people!!
